This is why Law of attraction is not working out for you

It all began 8 years ago. When I was introduced to the law of attraction. Consider this a continuation of my previous post ‘How Law of attraction helped me?’ Since then I’ve received countless emails, messages, comments from people complaining about why the law of attraction is not working for them. Well, consider this the lucky day guys, because in this blog post I will share the secret behind why the law of attraction works for some people and don’t work for some.

The basic steps remain the same. If you want to achieve something you have to dream it. But, before you dream it, you need to write it down. Yes, most of the people consider writing your goals as a time-wasting activity. But, sorry to break your heart people. The discipline of writing something down is the first step towards making it happen.

The Truth about How Creative Visualization Help in Business in 3 Steps

The Truth about How Creative Visualization Help in Business in 3 Steps

“We always attract into our lives whatever we think about most, believe most strongly, expect on the deepest level, and imagine most vividly.” Shakti Gawain, Creative Visualization: Use the Power of Your Imagination to Create What You Want in Your Life

Let me start with how many of you believe in Creative Visualization? Answer will be most of you don’t and the ones who do don’t know how it is working for them. So, let me take some of your time to illustrate how creative visualization helped me to succeed in my business. It all starts with an image of what you want to be, and ends at how willing are you to achieve that success.

Many times people don’t believe in creative visualization and complain that it doesn’t work at all but trust me the ways I’ve experienced miracles is difficult to jot down. But I will try my best to deliver it in simplest of manner.

5 Things Books Taught Me That High School Didn’t

5 Things Books Taught Me That High School Didn’t

They say school is place where you learn things. But no one tells you that school life is pretty much different than practical life. I was convinced that good schooling will equip me to deal with practical life but then the reality sat in. It was nothing like that until I started reading. And took reading to my heart

People still ask me what are books to me? I always have the same answer, “Books are those pearls which we find deep down in the sea. The more you dig the higher chance of success will be. For books its the more you read, the more beautiful your soul will be. But sometimes it takes time to understand certain books, and for them you need to re-read them again and again to grasp the hidden message in them.”

But book reading also taught me life lessons which any school wasn’t able to teach me. Here are some of the lessons which I really want to share.

Life is Beyond Degree

Life is Beyond Degree

Our parents set limited goals for us. This is the mind set, My kid will complete his education, get a degree, go for a job and finally get married. This is the overall goal set by our parents for us. But Life is Beyond Degree. Life is more than just getting a good grade or simply getting a degree for the sake of society. Degree is just a piece of paper that helps you to show off to your relatives. But other than that life is beyond degree.

Degree will help you to face problems in your life; degree will open the first door in your practical life. Your talent will open the second but it’s your attitude that will open rest of the doors. Now there is a difference between talent and attitude. Talent is your inborn ability while attitude is what you do with your talent. Let me elaborate with an example. Saeed Anwar (famous Pakistani cricketer) was born talented but as “Practice makes man perfect”. He practiced hard. 55 days of consistent practice. He practice for 2 hours, play a game, practice for 2 hours then play a game. Now this is consistency towards your goal. If you have a goal in life you have to make gradual increments on daily basics to achieve your goal.

5 Ways to Train Yourself to Be a Great Leader

5 Ways to Train Yourself to Be a Great Leader

Ever asked yourself: What do the great leaders do that other leaders (average and, well, poor) don’t?

Greatness in leadership is in part born, but it’s also learned.

Just because you have the instincts for leadership doesn’t make you a great leader. Great leadership is also about cultivating the right habits and disciplines.

Which is good news for all of us, because that means we can grow and become better.

Age doesn’t make you better as a leader. It just makes you more of who you really are.

Your habits, disciplines and skill sets make you better.

So how do you get better? 5 Ways to Train Yourself to Be a Great Leader

Why fail more to be a better Entrepreneur?

You have a very impressive resume Mr Thomson but I didn’t see any failures in your resume and because of this we won’t be able to hire you at Google. Why is that? Because if you haven’t fail enough you are not worth hiring. An extract from the book The Google Guys. Its not me, its not your regular day to day HR manager, its Chief Operating Officer of a billion dollar company we are talking about. The people who ask me Why fail more to be a better Entrepreneur? Well this is my answer to them. When you start as an Entrepreneur. You start with audacious dreams and irresistible passion to achieve something, but sometimes in the middle of all that, you fail, and you fail hard. And at times it feels like quitting everything and  go for a job. But then if you are passionate enough about your dream, you read what others did when they were faced with failure. Guess what, they lean into it meaning they embraced failure no matter how bad it was. And after couple of dozen failures you see them in Times magazine or consider them an overnight success.

Things No one told me about being an Entrepreneur in Pakistan

Things No one told me about being an Entrepreneur in Pakistan

I was invited in for a panel discussion in which someone asked, how many hours do you work for your startup each day? I said 25 hours. He said how can it be. I was like because being an Entrepreneur is a full time job. This is one of myths no one told me about when I was starting early as an Entrepreneur. With 9-5 you work just for 12 hours but with Entrepreneurship you work just few hours. Which is insane concept. When you start as an Entrepreneur you start with a passion, you start with a dream; to serve, to make a difference, and to achieve peace in your life. In this blog I would like to list some of the things which I wished someone told me when I was starting out as an Entrepreneur.

Salah – A way to connect with Allah

Image courtesy by: http://islamgreatreligion.files.wordpress.comIn every religion there is a spiritual way to connect with GOD. In Islam Muslims connect to Allah by Salah or Salat (an Arabic word which means prayer). As a Muslim alhumdulilaah I started Salah from the age of 12 (age in which it’s obligatory on every Muslim to offer Salah). In the beginning I just started it because my mother taught me to offer Salah or else Allah will drive me in hell. At that time I was a kid so I use to pray by fear not by heart. I also read the Holy Quran in which it’s mentioned that if you don’t pray you’ll be sent to hell to be burned in fire (fire which is stronger than fire here in the world).
