In the Name Of Allah…The Most Gracious….The Most Merciful
Now a days we often hear from Muslims “It’s just a Sunnah (teachings by Prophet Muhammad P.B.U.H); not a big deal, if we follow it we will get its reward, if not we will not be punished”. Think again, is this how we should be regarding our beloved Prophet. Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H) who spent his whole life teaching us how to live, so that we can get rewarded in life and life after death.
Muslims now a day’s feel proud to greet their Muslim brothers and sisters in the usual fashion like “Hello, Hi, Good Evening, Good Morning, Good night” while they feel shame to follow the sunnah which is the best way to greet a Muslim. I mean it’s ok to greet the non-muslims the usual way but with Muslims we need to be specific. Every greeting in Islam is a prayer.
It’s a humble request to all the Muslims that please include these alternatives in your day to day talks with Muslims:
Hello –> Asalam o Alikum
Thanks –> JazaakAllah
Bye / Take care –> feeamanAllah
Great –> maashaaAllah
Ok –> inshAllah
I am fine –> alhumdulilaah
Wow!! –> subhanAllah
Other than this few more things I would like to add. We often hear Muslims that we are facing so many problems in our daily life and Allah Subhan o Tala is not helping us. Think again are you following the path given by Allah Subhan o Tala. Look up in your daily activities… how many times do you remember Allah Subhan o Tala. How many times you pray to Allah and thank HIM for HIS countless blessings. I hear people saying it’s difficult to live by the teachings of Quran and Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H), for such people here is what Quran says:
Or think you that you will enter Paradise without such (trials) as came to those who passed away before you? They were afflicted with severe poverty and ailments and were so shaken that even the Messenger and those who believed along with him said, “When (will come) the Help of Allah?” Yes! Certainly, the Help of Allah is near! (Quran 2:214)
Pray to Allah, pray the right way and pray by heart. For once just try to understand the meaning of what you are saying while you pray. Facing any problem tell Allah and ask for his help. Trust me praying 5 times a day will diminish your problems and you’ll be close to Allah Subhan o Tala.
Read Holy Quran daily as much as you can. Start from a single ayat and progress but try to be consistent. Quran is like a manual to the life and life after death. Finding difficultly in understanding the Holt Quran, why not refer to the Prerequisites for Understanding the Qur’an.
In the end its just a humble request to all my Muslim brothers and sisters that please for God sake keep in mind what is your final destination and carry out things that you’ll need there. May Allah guide us all Ameen Sume Ameen
