In Search of Happiness

In Search of Happiness

Some pursue happiness, others create it. Happiness itself is nothing unless we give it a meaning. Everyone is in search of Happiness but only few find it before they die. As the saying goes ‘When you were born, you cried and the world rejoiced. Live your life so that when you die, the world cries and you rejoice.’ Happiness is perceived by everyone in their own way. Some find happiness in travelling, others find it in social work and some like me find it in reading books, tons of them.

John Lennon - Is Being Happy the Key to Life

Every single soul in this universe is worthy of something. When you wake up each day you are gifted 24 hours, 1440 minutes and 86400 seconds in a day. And in that human come across 50,000-70,000 thoughts, this means between 35 and 48 thoughts per minute per person. What an astonishing fact isn’t it? Now here is the best part. Out of this how many of these thoughts make you happy. Like thoughts that make you love life more. Not that many right? Because as humans we have a tendency to focus on the empty glass. How many of you actually spend few hours daily to count your blessings instead of worries? My aim or mission you can call whatever you want is to bring people closer to their passion. Make them realize that their existence is more important than they think. Yes, we all are busy in search of happiness and mostly we bury our dreams for the sake of our families or our so-called-society but trust me I am here to tell you that 5 years from now, none of this will matter. Only thing that will matter is are you happy or not.

People leave, people die, relatives move on, but at the end of the day our family and few friends hold our backs firmly. Not because they have something on you, but because they truly love you for whatever you are. Screw ups happen but how you cope up with that screw up really matters on the long run. We either can live with regret or learn the lesson and move on. There is no such choice as living a under rated life, Life, is a gift from GOD and how we use that gift is our payback. Crippled/broken/smashed on the the ground? So what. This happens with everyone. But with every pain comes pleasure. This verse from Holy Quran keeps me hopeful in tough times.

“O you who believe! Seek help in Patience & the Prayer .” (Quran 2:153)

Haven’t came across anything as powerful and as simple as this one. Often times we underestimate the power of prayer. We pray and expect instant results. But guess what, Allah is the best of all planners. We might not understand some things at the moment but trust me everything happens for our own good. Every soul, every incident is planned by Allah and is for our best on the long run.

What makes you happy? No like seriously what makes you happy go do that. Yes world might label you as crazy for now. But who told you to put your happiness in others hand. It’s your life, its your dream, its your path to follow. Appreciate the ones support you for your cause and run away from them who try to bring you down. No one can understand your dream as you do. Only you know what makes you happy so get up now and start doing that. It doesn’t matter you are employed somewhere or not. What matters is are you happy with it or not? Judging people is easiest if all things because it takes the least of our brains to criticize others.

Being working on my own from quite some time now and trust me it makes me happy. Now resuming this blog because I love turning frowns into smile, (check my Twitter bio). Mostly you will find tweets that will uplift your soul. I do this because I really know how it feels to be alone and to feel defeated and how it feels to kill myself sometime. But one thing that keeps me going is faith in Allah and trust in humanity, or whatever is left in it. There is cruel world out there and you have to choose your battles wisely. You can either wake up everyday with “What an awful day” or you can start with “What a beautiful day it is. And spend some time counting your blessings instead of worries” I am not a saint nor I am a complete sinner. What I try to do is find the happy side of everything. It took time to rewire my brain with everything. But with some awesome affirmations, and law of attraction things just got a lot more easier. So

So no matter where you are at the moment. Get up and do some reading. Listen/Read Quran (it brings peace to the heart). Get hold on to some wonderful books. Read 200 Success Secrets by Robin Shamra, Power of your Sub conscious mind by Joseph Murphy, The Secret is an excellent read. And if you are still unable to search for Happiness, catch me up on Twitter and lets talk.
