Is GOD Happy With Me

As a human being one thing that distinguishes us from animals is the power given by GOD to choose from right or wrong. Every deed brings us closer to or away from GOD but how do we know that we are getting close to GOD. Is it that GOD blesses those more that are close and bless less to those who are away? In this blog I will try to convey a message based upon my understandings.

Problem with human beings is that they try to find logic in everything and based upon those logic conclude results. In order to analyze yourself there are certain signs which can help us to know that “Is GOD happy with me.”

Olpers inspiring many to pray (dua) for Pakistan

Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported that Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said:
“Whoever does not ask from Allah, He (Allah) becomes angry at him.”
(An authentic Hadeeth reported by Ibn Majah, At-Tirmidhi, Al-Haakim and others)

From the above Hadeeth we can clearly understand the importance of Dua (the word Dua means “to call upon.”) in our life. In Islam Dua or supplication means to address Allah (SWT) with praise, thanksgiving, hope, and to mention one’s needs. In English it is also referred to as “Prayer.”

With the recent floods in Pakistan it’s necessary for all the Muslims to ask forgiveness from Allah (SWT).  As mentioned in the Holy Quran:

“And whatever misfortune befalls you, (comes upon you) as a result of that (evil work) which your own hands have done while HE forgives most of your (misdoings)”

(Quran 42: 30)

For this media can play a vital role in creating awareness among common people. I personally love Olpers for what they are doing.

It’s just a Sunnah… Not a big deal

In the Name Of Allah…The Most Gracious….The Most Merciful

Now a days we often hear from Muslims “It’s just a Sunnah (teachings by Prophet Muhammad P.B.U.H); not a big deal, if we follow it we will get its reward, if not we will not be punished”. Think again, is this how we should be regarding our beloved Prophet. Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H) who spent his whole life teaching us how to live, so that we can get rewarded in life and life after death.

Muslims now a day’s feel proud to greet their Muslim brothers and sisters in the usual fashion like “Hello, Hi, Good Evening, Good Morning, Good night” while they feel shame to follow the sunnah which is the best way to greet a Muslim. I mean it’s ok to greet the non-muslims the usual way but with Muslims we need to be specific. Every greeting in Islam is a prayer.
